I had a client that had only one photo of his father who died when the client was very young. The wallet-size photo was torn, bent, scratched, and faded. To make matters worse, one of the scratches went right through the left eye. That eye had to be replaced. The client was given a 4" x 6" photo suitable for framing. Hardly a perfect portrait, but he finally had a photograph of his father he could display with his other family pictures.
